Me. Nick Knirk. Musician. 31 years old. I graduated from music school in ‘98. I’ve been a full-time musician for about 10 years. (Last time I had a day job was early ‘99.) Toured the northern hemisphere, including Alaska and Greenland with my old original band, Waking Norman. Cut a video in L.A.. Sold a few thousand CDs. Band broke up. Since then, I’ve been a sideman for quite a few awesome bands and artists in D/FW. Learned a lot from all of them. Which brings me to the present.
Now I can write and perform in a bunch of situations pretty easily. I’m in two bands - a private party band and a church band. I have a regular solo gig twice a week and have been doing that for 2 years. And, it’s going on about 12 years that I’ve been molding the minds of tomorrow’s rockers through private guitar instruction. Let’s talk about me some more…
I like to write and produce and get creative in the studio. Lately, I have produced a few radio spots. I love that stuff. I'm always looking to do more production.
